Taumata Soloman is a Māori artist who loves to tell stories through the exploration of his own creativity. He has a very strong grounding in Te Ao Māori, tōna reo Māori ka mutu ōna tikanga Māori anō hoki. Taumata says “I truly believe my work speaks due to my grounding in Te Ao Māori.” This piece will showcase his spray painting portraiture skill set in honour of a humble, iconic and legendary local kaihaka.
